NewRuins

NewRuins is an American history project, an expression of the inherent beauty of ruins and a vehicle for looking back to the stories found within the ruins of our short but vibrant past.

Many locations where the industrial revolution began are now gone but some ruins remain. They tell stories. Stories that shaped who we are today. Sadly, as the old and unwanted sites become ruins, they quickly become fodder for the bulldozers of progress.
